Advances in the publishing industry over the past decade have made self-publishing a popular option without its previous stigma. Better quality and design have provided many authors with very successful publishing journeys. It isn't always about how your book is published that matters, but what you do with it once it is. What we cannot discount is the hard work it will take to make your publishing adventure a success.
I would be happy to share my own author story with you.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Best,
Erik Korhel

Content editing is a stage of the editing process that aims to check written content for effective, cohesive, and understandable arguments. It also looks at grammar issues like misspellings, comma splices, and incorrect word choice.
Line editing ensures that the sentences in a book or article are as effective as they can be. A line editor is attentive to the writer's individual style (for that reason, the job is sometimes called stylistic editing) and approaches the manuscript as a careful reader.
Copy editing is the stage in which a piece of writing, the “copy,” is reviewed and edited to improve its readability. Copy editors ensure the style of writing is consistent, and that the text flows organically from one sentence to the next.
Proofreading means examining your text carefully to find and correct typographical errors and mistakes in grammar, style, and spelling.Â
The author's voice refers to a writer's style, the quality that makes their writing unique.Â
The purpose of book cover design is to create an image that draws the attention of your potential readers based on the theme of your story.
Book layout design, or "typesetting," involves all of the decisions that influence the way readers experience the content of your printed book: fonts, spacing, the styling of chapter headings, margins, etc.
Illustrations are an artistic image that should not only explain the text, but expand and complement it.
Allows a book to be made available for purchase to both brick-and-mortar and online retailers.
